It is nearly 20 days since the two divisions of Party members of the capital city broke the ground in the reconstruction sites of North and South Hamgyong provinces.
In the period, letters and phone calls have continued to come to console the people in the afflicted areas and inspire the Party members from the capital city to clear the aftereffects of disaster as soon as possible.
Choe Yong Sun, a female volunteer from the Pyongyang Wheat Flour Processing Factory, received a letter from her fellow worker in the same workshop, which said: “Whenever the images of the members of the divisions of Party members of the capital city, who are pushing ahead with construction, are televised on TV, I think of you, Yong Sun, who volunteered to work at the reconstruction site by leaving a young child behind. Let us significantly celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea on October 10 by discharging our duties well in the reconstruction site and factory.”
Among the builders from the Pyongyang Pig Farm belonging to the 2nd division of Party members of the capital city, there is Jo Chol Ho, visual aid information officer aged over 60.
He reportedly receives phone calls from her wife almost every day, who always asks him to work hard so as not to lag behind others without worrying about family affairs at the end of her calls.
Yun Jong Hui, a special-class honoured disabled soldier who is residing in Thongil Street in Rangnang District, Pyongyang, sent a following letter to the members of the 2nd division of Party members of the capital city:
“It is a pity that I can’t take part in the rehabilitation campaign though our Supreme Leader calls the Party members of the capital city at a time when the country is facing difficulties.
“However, I’ll live as a member of the proud ranks at heart.
“I send red flags in reflection of my mind. Please, put up the flags on the highest place of the reconstruction site where great feats are performed.”
