Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Foreign personages visited the DPRK missions in their countries from Oct. 2 to 10 on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

They laid floral baskets and flowers before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and art works depicting Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il standing together and bowed to them.

A secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is also the head of the Russia-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Duma of Russia visited the DPRK mission.

Among the Laotian personages were the chairman of the Committee for External Affairs of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and the president of the Central Committee of the Lao Federation of Trade Unions who are members of the Central Committee of the LPRP, a secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union and the vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the National Construction Front of Laos.

Among the visitors were also the general secretary of the Syrian Communist Party (Unified), the secretary general of the External Relations Committee of the People's Party of Cambodia and the general secretary of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front.

Among the Nepalese visitors were the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the chairman of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified) and the chief of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party.

The Nepalese visitors also included the chairman of the Nepal Journalist Association, the chairman of the Nepalese Association for Supporting the Songun Politics, the chairman of the Nepali Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Politics, the chairman of the International Committee for the Study of Songun Politics for Peaceful Reunification of Korea in Nepal, the chairman of the Study Forum for Self-Reliance of Nepal and the secretary general of the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association.

There were also Bangladeshi personages such as the chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the general secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, the chairman of the Central Committee of the Bangladesh Communist Party, the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist), the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist Party of Bangladesh, the chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee and the chief of the Bangladeshi Media Persons' Group for the Study of the Juche Idea.

Among the Belarusian visitors were the chairman of the Permanent Standing Committee of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the chairman of the Belarus Association for the Study of Juche Idea and the chief of the Belarusian Group for Solidarity with the DPRK.

The visitors also included the general secretary of the Workers' Party of the DR Congo, the chairman of the Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in DR Congo and the vice-director of the International Department of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea.

Meanwhile, a party delegation headed by the vice-chairman of the FUNCINPEC Party of Cambodia visited the DPRK mission in its country on Oct. 8 on the same occasion.
