Pyongyang, October 17 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ha Ryong Nam living in the township of Onsong County, North Hamgyong Province on his 100th birthday.
He, born into a poor slash-and-burn peasant's family before the liberation of the country, keenly experienced how miserable a stateless nation's destiny is, being subject to all sorts of humiliation and insult.
Only after President Kim Il Sung liberated the country, he was granted land, his long-cherished desire. He then devoted himself to farming.
He bravely fought in the People's Army during the Fatherland Liberation War. In the post-war period he worked hard as a stockbreeder for decades. During those days he was honored to receive citation of the President.
Saying that our socialist system is the best in the world as it gave birth to a large harmonious family where everyone helps each other, he requests his children to do more jobs for the good of the country. -0-
