The youth league officials and members in Sinpho City are pressing on with the construction of dwelling houses in their efforts to clear away the aftermaths of natural disasters as early as possible.
Since they arrived at the Phungo-dong area in mid-September, the members of the youth vanguard death-defying corps comprising the officials of the city youth league committee and officials and other young people of primary youth league organizations in the city are waging a vigorous drive to complete the construction of dwelling houses in their charge without fail by the 75th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Chairman Kong Un Chol and other officials of the city youth league committee mapped out daily construction plans according to each process and have inspired young people to fulfil their highly-set targets by conducting political work in an offensive way, while giving precedence to the securing of building materials.
After securing hundreds of cubic metres of aggregate and making thousands of blocks, they completed groundwork for houses in a day.
They strictly observed the requirements of construction methods in the framework construction in order to ensure the quality of structures.
They waged a fierce 24-7 struggle to successfully round off the concrete placing for slabs in less than a week.
The families of youth league officials came to the construction sites with items for labour protection and other supplies to greatly encourage the builders.
The young people in Sinpho are now conducting roofing work and internal and external plastering simultaneously. Thanks to their efforts, the construction of dwelling houses is nearing completion.
