Premier Kim Tok Hun, who is also member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, inspected the Jenam Coal Mine, the Namdok Youth Coal Mine and the construction site of dwelling houses for the employees of the feed supply farm under the Kwangchon Chicken Farm.
Making the rounds of various production processes of the Jenam Coal Mine and the Namdok Youth Coal Mine, the premier urged officials to enhance the transport capacity as the coal production has increased, provide equipment and technical management in conformity with the relevant rules and direct efforts to the supply service for bettering the living conditions of coal miners.
At the construction site of dwelling houses for the employees of the feed supply farm under the Kwangchon Chicken Farm, he urged the units involved in the project to ensure quality in the building of every structure as required by the designs and construction methods and underlined the need to step up land readjustment, road pavement and river improvement.
The field consultative meetings urged officials to go among the workers to solve the problems in time and speed up heading excavation and preparatory tunnelling at the coal mines in order to secure reserve cutting faces with large deposits. They also discussed practical matters for completing the construction of farm houses as early as possible.
