Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Floral Baskets to Cemetery of Martyrs and Monument to Resisting America and Aiding Korea

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, sent floral baskets to the cemetery of the martyrs fallen in resisting America and aiding Korea in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China and the monument to resisting America and aiding Korea in Dandong City on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the entry of the Chinese People's Volunteers into the Korean front.

Ceremonies for laying floral baskets took place on Oct. 22.

The guard of honor of the Chinese People's Liberation Army lined up at the cemetery and the monument.

The national anthems of the DPRK and the People's Republic of China were played.

Floral baskets bearing the august name of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un were laid at the monument of the cemetery and the monument.

Written on the ribbons of the floral baskets were letters "Martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers Will Be Immortal".

Present there were the DPRK ambassador to China and staff members of the DPRK missions, officials of the DPRK working in China and officials concerned of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Liaoning Province, Shenyang and Dandong cities.

The participants paid silent tribute to the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers, and looked round the cemetery and the monument.
