Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- A movement for winning the title of Forest of Socialist Patriotism is brisk in the DPRK.
A lot of units across the country won the title of Forest of Socialist Patriotism this year by positively pushing ahead with afforestation and conservation of forests.
Officials and working people in Pyongyang City are active in afforestation and greening.
Officials and working people of several units in the city who cherish Kim Jong Il's patriotism won the title of Forest of Socialist Patriotism by dedicating themselves to cultivating trees and flowers of good species in their compounds and mountains.
More than 60 units in Jagang Province won the title of Forest of Socialist Patriotism by creating timber forests, forests of oil-bearing trees and wild-fruit trees. The movement for winning the title is also brisk in Riwon County, South Hamgyong Province where hundreds of thousands of saplings are produced every year.
A lot of units in South Phyongan Province including Sunchon Deer Ranch won the title by putting afforestation on a scientific and technological basis. -0-
