Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- A meeting of the members of the divisions of the Party members from the capital city was held at the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, on Friday to make a report of loyalty to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

The heroes and heroines of the divisions who fully displayed their honor as lifeguards and special detachment of the Party Central Committee by successfully performing the combat duty given by the Party proudly entered the plaza with the report of proud victory and glory.

Taking the platform were Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the WPK, Kim Yong Hwan, chairman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, commanding officials and exemplary members of the divisions of Party members in the capital city and leading officials of the Party and administrative organs in Pyongyang City.

All the participants bowed to the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Commander of the Division No.1 of Party Members of the Capital City Choe Hwi, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and vice-chairman of the Party Central Committee, made a report of loyalty to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The reporter presented the report of victory and loyalty to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, eternal leaders of our Party and people and sun of Juche, that the Party members from the capital city successfully carried out the militant duty given by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

He said that despite harsh conditions and environment, all the members of the divisions waged all-out charge of loyalty and fierce day and night campaign in a blitz war formula to build single-story houses and low-story apartments for hundreds of families and rehabilitate roads and rivers strong enough to stand any floods, out of pledge of faith to realize the noble plan of the Party Central Committee even at the cost of their lives.

He continued that the members of the divisions of the Party members from the capital city could fully display their might as the special detachment of the Party Central Committee as there were the great trust and loving care shown by Kim Jong Un as he visited the distant and dangerous disaster-hit areas before others, sent an open letter, sent militant encouragement and thanks to them from the high podium in the military parade for celebrating the 75th anniversary of the WPK and looked after the members of the divisions all the time.

Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, made a congratulatory speech.

Upon authorization of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, Pak Pong Ju, in the name of the Party Central Committee, warmly congratulated all the members of the divisions who displayed honor of the divisions of elite Party members from the capital city and made the report of victory and loyalty to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun.

The members of the divisions are vanguard fighters and heroes who recorded a proud page in the glorious history of our Party and showed in practice how our Party members have to devotedly defend the Party Central Committee, he stressed.

He called on all of them to strikingly demonstrate the spirit of continued innovation and advance at their revolutionary posts and thus further glorify their honor as the party members of the capital city most trusted by the Party Central Committee in the revolutionary advance toward the 8th Congress of the WPK.

A letter of pledge to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
