The 3rd Workteam of the Unhak Cooperative Farm in Anju City raises 100-odd pigs and hundreds of chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, etc and supplies its members with meat and eggs on a normal basis.
The workteam demolished its old pens and coops determinedly and newly built them again into profitable two-storied ones.
It also built a large greenhouse for stockbreeding purposes.
Consequently, it has been able to keep its pens and coops warm in the winter without firewood and turn out livestock products at all seasons.
It has considerably raised the proportion of non-cereal food for its livestock benefitting from the Chongchon River which flows a short walk away.
With the fodder problem being settled its livestock has annually increased in number and high-quality organic manure has been produced in large quantities to carpet its fields with it.
It has led to boosting the production of its cereals.
It has not only produced plenty of meat and eggs and regularly provided them to its members but also registered successes in its farm work despite bad weather conditions.
It has patently demonstrated the accuracy and vitality of the Party policy of establishing the system for the circulatory chain production of agriculture and livestock.
