The new term indicates the highest programme for the Workers’ Party of Korea.

“Imbuing the whole society with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the highest programme for our Party.”
Essence of the new term IMBUING THE WHOLE SOCIETY WITH KIMILSUNGISM-KIMJONGILISM is that prosperity of socialist Korea and fundamental guarantee for consummating the cause of socialism lies in imbuing the whole society with the revolutionary ideas of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and adding brilliance to the revolutionary exploits of the President and the Chairman.
That the whole society is imbued with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism means advancing the Korean revolution with great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the only guideline and building and perfecting an ideal society for the people on the basis of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. In other words, it means training all members of the society to be genuine Kimilsungists-Kimjongilists and transforming politics, military, economy, culture and all other fields as required by Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, thus realizing the people’s complete independence.
Imbuing the whole society with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the highest programme of the WPK as it clarifies the ultimate goal of realizing the popular masses’ complete independence and the fundamental way of attaining the goal.
Imbuing the whole society with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is the revolutionary continuation of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism, which the Chairman put forward and realized, and its comprehensive development onto a new, higher phase.
The DPRK people’s important fighting task in imbuing the whole society with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism at present is to consummate the cause of building a powerful socialist country. Building a powerful socialist country is a historic stage of the struggle to imbue the whole society with Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and a process of laying foundations for socialism and achieving its complete victory.
The new term clearly indicates the WPK’s ultimate goal and the way of its realization to win a decisive victory in accomplishing the cause of building a powerful socialist country and realize the people’s complete independence by building a reunified and prosperous people’s paradise in the DPRK as soon as possible.
