Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- A campaign of planting trees near dwelling houses and villages is being brisk in the rural areas of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
In North Phyongan Province, the agricultural workers planted more than 120 000 trees in the autumn tree-planting period alone.
Tens of thousands of fruit trees were planted in several cities and counties of South Hamgyong Province this year as the province directed efforts to growing good species of fruit tree saplings for families in rural areas.
Families of other rural areas also planted a number of fruit trees and useful trees. -0-
