Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- There took place a rally in Tokyo, Japan, on Nov. 21 to protest against the Japanese authorities' discrimination against the Korean schools in Japan.

Present there were teachers of Korean schools and parents of their students and members of Japanese civic organizations including the liaison council for opposing the exclusion of Korean schools from tuition-free program for senior high schools and Japanese citizens.

Speakers at the rally accused the authorities of excluding the Korean schools from the subsidy program for students, not content with having excluded them from the tuition-free program for senior high schools and the "program for free education and upbringing of children."

They said that brisk judicial actions are underway across Japan to disclose the injustice of the Japanese authorities' discriminative moves and settle the issue.
