Pyongyang, December 5 (KCNA) -- All the people across the country have turned out as one in the Movement for Winning the Title of Forest of Socialist Patriotism.
The movement is a new mass movement initiated by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un to inspire all citizens and service personnel to the forest restoration campaign.
Amid the brisk movement, many units have won the title by planting and cultivating trees with sincerity in the forests under their conservation.
In the period between July to September this year, over 70 units which distinguished themselves in afforestation won the title.
In Sunchon City of South Phyongan Province, Kanggye and Huichon cities of Jagang Province and Riwon County of South Hamgyong Province, officials have taken the lead in afforestation after setting detailed long-term goals and mapping out stage plans.
In this course, many units in those cities and county won the title.
Many schools across the country have planted and cultivated trees with sincerity in the forests under their care. -0-
