Looking round the Kosong Port coastal tourist area, the Inner Kumgang coastal park area, the sports and cultural area and other places, he discussed the practical issues to correctly reflect in
the master plan for the development of Mt. Kumgang tourist area the idea
of the Party to develop the scenic spots and meet the people's
cultural and emotional demand on the highest plane and implement it.
He called for carrying out the development work for building the Mt. Kumgang area into a modern and comprehensive international tourist and cultural area according to the annual and stage-by-stage plans and strictly keeping the principle of giving priority to convenience and esthetic sense in the construction.
Kim Tok Hun also underscored the need to build the tourist area into the cultural recreation resort for the people combined with national characteristics and modernity.
Discussed at a consultative meeting were issues on deciding the order of priority in the development according to the master plan and thoroughly embodying the Juche-based architectural idea and construction policy in the designing and the building of world-level hotel, golf course, ski-run and so on.
