Pyongyang, January 14 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) sent a congratulatory message to the 11th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) on Jan. 13.
The WPK Central Committee in its message warmly congratulated the LPRP upon its 11th Congress and, through the congress, extended warm comradely greetings to all its members.
It noted that the LPRP has made a big success in national defence and state building by wisely organizing and leading the struggle of all its members and other Lao people for implementing the decision made at its 10th Congress for the past five years.
It expressed firm belief that the 11th Congress of the LPRP would serve as a turning point of marking a new milestone in the struggle for further strengthening the leadership role of the party and achieving the prosperity of the country.
It sincerely wished the congress big success in its work, expressing conviction that the traditional friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties and two countries put on a higher stage under the deep care of the top leaders of the two countries would grow stronger in the common struggle for accomplishing the cause of socialism.
