Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on January 11.
The letter said that all the officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan can not repress their deep emotion of great joy and happiness after receiving the delightful news that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was elected as the head and general secretary of the WPK at the 8th Congress of the WPK.
It stressed that it is the eruption of the absolute support, trust and unanimous loyalty of all the Korean people and a great noteworthy revolutionary event which provided a sure guarantee for the victory of our own-style socialism and promised its rosy future that Kim Jong Un has invariably been held in high esteem as the head and general secretary of the WPK.
It noted that the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon offers the highest glory and warmest congratulations to the Supreme Leader upon his election as general secretary of the WPK.
It praised the Supreme Leader as the prominent leader who has developed the WPK into a powerful political general staff and elite iron-willed ranks of vanguard fighters both in name and reality by readjusting the leadership and fighting efficiency of the Party and consolidating the organizational and ideological foundation of the Party in every way as required by the idea of building Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Party and the developing reality.
It expressed the will to more thoroughly establish the Supreme Leader's unified leadership system throughout the association by applying the main spirit of the 8th Congress of the WPK to the work of Chongryon, a flank of the Korean revolution, strengthen the single-minded unity, boldly overcome any difficulties by dint of ideological power and the single-minded unity and thus usher in a fresh heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan.
