Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- A fireworks display followed the military parade celebrating the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea on Thursday evening.
Fantastic fireworks were set off around the Tower of the Juche Idea and songs "Glory to General Kim Jong Un" and "Cheers of the People" resounded forth.
Citizens who gathered at Kim Il Sung Square and on the banks of the River Taedong raised shouts of joy, feasting their eyes on the fireworks.
Those presented a sea of dance at the square.
Fireworks were shot off one after another to the tune of such songs as "Glory to Our Great Party" "Our Leader Loved by People", representing the profound reverence for the Party Central Committee putting the dignity and might of the country and the people on the highest level by dint of the great idea and unity in the face of the stern trials of history.
Colorful fireworks in different shapes were displayed in the nocturnal sky, exciting the dancing citizens in the square.
