Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- The social interest in the industrial art is growing in the DPRK.
Last year alone, intellectuals, workers, youths and schoolchildren attended the prize contest of industrial art designs organized by the Central Industrial Design Bureau several times to display their peculiar pieces.
And many people have subscribed to the homepage run by the bureau to see designs for furniture, natural leather goods, household goods and other new goods presented by fans.
A worker Kim Kwang Gyong, called as an excellent fan among the experts, presented tens of designs on shoes, hairpin, belt, etc. His designs are drawing attention of production units for their high formative art and aesthetic value.
Kim Jong Sik, an industrial art design fan in Sangwon County, North Hwanghae Province, said that admirable designs can be produced only by ardent creative zeal.
