, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, sent a message of greetings to the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.

I send warm congratulations and comradely greetings to you on the successful holding of the 11th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and your election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.
Your assumption of heavy responsibility as the head of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party is an expression of deep trust and expectation of the entire members of your Party and the Lao people for you who have devoted yourself to the Party, state and people for a long time.
It is a firm will of our Party to constantly expand and strengthen the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and Laos which had been formed by the preceding leaders of the two countries and has been consolidated and developed in the joint struggle for socialism.
I hope that the fraternal Lao people will achieve new progress in the struggle for implementing the decision of the 11th Party Congress under your guidance.
I sincerely wish you, General Secretary, good health and great successes in your responsible work to further raise the leading role of the Party and build a prosperous socialist state.
