Army-people rallies were held respectively in North Phyongan, North Hwanghae, Jagang and South Hamgyong provinces on Tuesday to extend the highest glory to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un who was elected as general secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and make a vow to thoroughly carry out the decisions of the Eighth Party Congress.
The venues were packed with crowds who gathered with extraordinary enthusiasm and resolution to push the general offensive for overall development of Korean-style socialism along the road indicated by the Eighth Party Congress with full confidence in fresh victory, true to the ideas and leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
They were attended by officials and working people of local Party and government organs, working people’s organizations, industrial establishments and cooperative farms and officers and men of the Korean People’s Army and the Public Security Forces.
Leading Party and administrative officials of different provinces and cities under the direct control of the government and generals and other officers of the KPA made speeches.
The speakers offered the highest glory and warmest congratulations to the Supreme Leader, describing his re-election as head of the WPK at the Eighth Party Congress as an auspicious revolutionary event which provided the crucial guarantee for the victory of Korean-style socialism and promised a rosy future.
Saying that officials, Party members, other working people and service personnel in the provinces voiced their full support and approval for the decisions of the historic Eighth WPK Congress, they expressed their resolve to fulfil the militant tasks put forward by the Party without fail.
