Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, on Jan. 18 sent a reply message to Raul Castro Ruz, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.
In the message Kim Jong Un expressed his deep thanks to the first secretary for extending sincere congratulations to him upon his assumption of duty as the general secretary of the WPK at its 8th Congress.
The first secretary's warm and comradely congratulations are the great support and encouragement to the struggle of our Party and people for achieving a new victory of socialist cause, the message said.
Expressing once again the steadfast will to value and steadily boost the tradition of militant unity and cooperation with the Cuban Party and people, the message wished the first secretary good health and greater success in his noble work of leading the Cuban revolution.
