Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- The central emergency anti-epidemic sector in the DPRK has taken timely measures to further tighten the emergency anti-epidemic system and discipline amid the global pandemic crisis.
It has waged dynamic information activities to make sure that all officials, working people and other inhabitants receive with high ideological consciousness the intention of the Party that set the emergency anti-epidemic work as this year's top priority task and behave in unison with shared awareness of the gravity of the pandemic crisis.
It has directed efforts into developing effective disinfection methods and system and disinfectants and stepping up the building of special disinfecting establishments.
Institutions for preventive and curative medical care have disseminated common hygienic knowledge and anti-epidemic information among citizens, conducting thorough medical examinations of employees of the units and inhabitants under their charge.
Anti-epidemic organs have fulfilled their responsibility in preventing various kinds of diseases and fatal epidemics like bird flu that may break out in the period of seasonal change.
