Unjong Tea Factory Commissioned Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- The Unjong Tea Factory was wonderfully built and commissioned under the great loving care and meticulous guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The modern factory with all processes ranging from water purifying to packing will produce health tea with peculiar flavour and fragrance.

The Unjong tea is associated with the peerlessly great men's warm loving care for the people.

President Kim Il Sung personally planted tea saplings and grew them at his house with his plan to produce tea by the country itself and provide it to the people.

Chairman Kim Jong Il who was very concerned for the growing of tea trees named the tea produced by the country "Unjong Tea" so that the people could hand down to posterity the loving care shown by the President, drinking good tea.

The Unjong tea associated with the great love of the President and the Chairman for the people became popular with the people thanks to the meticulous care shown by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un made sure that the tea growing area was expanded on an annual basis, that manuring and cultivating the tea trees were improved, that the tea was provided well to the people, and that a tea factory was built wonderfully so that the people would have tea at any time and place.

True to the Party's plan, the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and working people have built new production buildings, subsidiary and public service buildings, etc. of the factory in the area of Namsa-ri, Rangnang District, Pyongyang.

Officials, scientists and technicians of relevant units including Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the State Academy of Sciences, the Light Industry Designing Institute of the Ministry of Light Industry and the factory have completed a solar energy generation system and a power-generating system through coal gasification, while building the integrated production system and realizing the domestic production and packing equipment.

A water-purifying process, a tea-filter process and other production processes are made highly automatic and streamlined, and the factory is put on a perfect germ-free and dust-free basis.

Now that tea has become one of three table luxuries in the world, a technique to produce tea peculiar to Korea has been newly developed so as to produce nutritious green tea, black tea and Cholgwanum tea with peculiar flavor, aroma and color.

Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, Ju Chol Gyu, vice-premier and minister of Agriculture, and officials concerned looked round the Unjong Tea Factory on Feb. 26.

The officials and employees of the factory made up their minds to add warm flavor and beautiful emotions to the people by further improving the quality of the Unjong tea and developing many tea goods of various kinds by relying on domestic resources.
