Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- More meetings took place in different units across the country to pledge to carry out without fail the first-year tasks of the five-year plan in response to the hearty appeal made by the workers of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex.
Read out at the meetings was the appeal to the working people across the country issued by the workers of the complex. And the goals to be attained by the units this year were mentioned, which was followed by oath-taking speeches of officials and workers to thoroughly carry out the decisions made at the Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) with the fighting spirit of self-reliance and perseverance.
The speakers said that the appeal made by the workers of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex is inspiring the patriotic zeal for revolution of the working people who are ushering in a new era of self-respect and prosperity, an era of our state-first principle, boldly overcoming all difficulties under the leadership of the Party.
They expressed their firm will to make substantial change and successes by bringing about new innovation, bold creation and steady progress in response to the appeal made by the workers of the complex and thus firmly defend the prestige of the dignified WPK. -0-
