The Central Tree Nursery under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection concentrates its efforts on boosting the scientific level of sapling production.
The tree nursery completed a method of far shortening the fermentation time of substrate and introduced it into production to grow various kinds of trees healthily, including Pinus strobus and “Kumya black pine”.
The researchers helped raise the intensification level of sapling production by improving the double tree sapling cultivation technology in the greenhouse. They also developed an amino acid microelement compound fertilizer to increase the growth rate of saplings and systematized the nutrition management methods in the production of seedlings of Changsong larch according the stages of its growth.
The tree nursery is now stepping up the preparations for the production of rooting and growth stimulants for saplings.
