Many countries in the world are now directing a lot of energies to recycling.
China has set a goal to build a safe, eco-friendly and cost-effective sewage recycling system by 2035.
For the present, it plans to reuse over 25 percent of waste water in the cities which suffer from water shortage and raise the percentage to 35 in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province.
Construction and food waste is recycled in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Hunan provinces and other areas and packing paper, plastic chairs and various other goods are made from procured waste in Lanzhou of Gansu Province.
In Thailand six to eight recycling technologies are developed every year and introduced into recycling processes of about 300 businesses.
The government has made a plan to extract rare-earth metals from industrial and household waste and use them in the high-tech industry, directing deep attention to recycling 50 tons of electronic waste dumped every year.
A power station in Can Tho City, Vietnam, treats about 70 percent of daily collected solid waste to produce electric power.
The city plans to collect 100 percent of solid waste from families and use it for the production of energy or organic fertilizer in the future.
In the Netherlands which is poor in natural resources, methane gas is produced from food waste to supply electric power and heat energy to the residents. In Zwolle City a plastic road was built by recycling disposable plastic product waste.
The international community is showing growing interest in recycling as it helps prevent environmental pollution and brings enormous economic benefits with low production costs.
