, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent an oral message to Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China, to inform him of the Eighth Congress of the WPK according to the demand of the times when the strategic communications between the two parties should be strengthened on the basis of the deep comradely relations.

said in detail that the Eighth Congress of the WPK presented a scientific and realistic line of struggle and strategic and tactical tasks to make new innovations in the work of the Party and the state in accordance with the changed internal and external situations and reality.

He also said the Congress took practical measures to strengthen the leadership ability and militancy of the Party and achieve its sound development and consolidate and develop the state and social system and discussed and decided on the economic strategy at present stage and new prospective plan and thus confirmed the direction of advance of the Korean revolution and policies of struggle.

He informed in depth that our Party discussed and decided on its political stand toward the strengthening of the defence capability, the inter-Korean relations and the DPRK-US relations on the basis of serious study and analysis of the situation of the Korean peninsula and the international relations. And he stressed that the two parties and two countries of the DPRK and China should strengthen unity and cooperation to cope with the all-directional challenges and obstructions of the hostile forces.

He said he is rejoiced as over his own over the fact that the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people are making remarkable successes in the struggle to deter the great disaster of the worldwide health crisis with success and build an elementarily rich society in a comprehensive way while firmly defending socialism despite the frantic slanders and pressure of the hostile forces under the leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping.

said it is a steadfast will of the WPK and the Korean people to vigorously advance the socialist cause with the might of friendship and solidarity. He expressed the belief that cooperation between the two parties would continue to go well and the DPRK-China friendly relations would be developed according to the demand of the times and the aspiration, desire and fundamental interests of the two peoples this significant year marking the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 60th anniversary of the conclusion of the treaty on the DPRK-China friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance.

He wholeheartedly wished Xi Jinping good health and greater success in his responsible work of leading the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people.
