Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- The Fourth Meeting of the 24th Executive Committee of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) took place at the Central Hall of Chongryon in Tokyo on March 31.
Attending it were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Ko Tok U, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, and members of its executive committee.
Ko Tok U in his report stressed the need to thoroughly turn the building of Chongryon organizations into the one of prioritizing branches under the uplifted slogan of the compatriots-first principle, referring to the detailed goals and tasks for doing so.
Speeches were made.
Ho Jong Man concluded the meeting.
He said that the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters should successfully discharge its leading role, always standing in the van of all organizations in planning and conducting the patriotic movement, in order to keep pace with the speed of advance of the people at the homeland.
He called upon all branches of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters to surely bring about fresh progress through a dynamic movement for setting examples of patriotism in the new heyday.
