Pyongyang, 7 de abril (ACNC) -- En la videoconferencia de alto nivel auspiciada por la Oficina de la Organizacion Mundial de la Salud (OMS) en la region del sudeste asiatico con motivo del Dia Mundial de Salud (7 de abril), un funcionario del Ministerio de Salud Publica de la RPDC aclaro que se desarrollan cada dia mas en nuestro pais los servicios de salud publica bajo la atencion del Partido y el Estado.
La salud publica constituye en nuestro pais una labor importante para proteger y fomentar la vida y salud del pueblo.
Por esta razon, el gobierno coreano toma como su politica estatal el desarrollo continuo de esa rama.
Desde que se implemento en el periodo de Guerra de Liberacion de la Patria de la decada de 1950 el sistema de asistencia medica gratuita general, se protege y se fomenta a expensas del Estado la salud de habitantes y ninos.
En la decada de 1960, se puso en practica en todo el pais el sistema del medico por zona y, hasta finales de 1974, se instalaron en todas las comunas del pais las policlinicas asi como los hospitales populares en ciudades y distritos se convirtieron en los universales.
Se da impulso ahora a los proyectos para mejorar los indices de salud publica.
Esta en marcha el plan para ampliar la red de telemedicina y acondicionar modernamente los organos de tratamiento y prevencion de todo el pais tomando como modelo el Hospital de Pediatria Okryu de la ciudad de Pyongyang y el Hospital Popular de la Ciudad de Samjiyon de la provincia de Ryanggang.
Se promueven los trabajos para reconstruir y modernizar las fabricas farmaceuticas, las de aparatos medicos y las de medicamentos tradicionales Coryo, acelerar la construccion de las fabricas de articulos de consumo medico y normalizar su produccion y elevar mas el nivel de primeros auxilios y el porcentaje de la terapia Coryo.
Se toman las medidas para consolidar la base profilactica con que se pueda hacer frente a cualquier crisis sanitaria mundial con las fuerzas y tecnologias propias segun las metas ya establecidas.
