Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- A performance was given at the April 25 House of Culture on April 10 and 11 to commemorate the 6th Conference of Cell Secretaries of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

The venue of the performance was overflowing with great joy and excitement of the participants in the conference to see a significant performance after glorifying the conference, the sixth of its kind in the history of our glorious Party as an occasion of an epochal turn in consolidating the cornerstone of strengthening the whole Party and its unity and as a significant conference to be recorded in the history of Juche-oriented Party building.

Among the audience were officials of the Central Committee of the WPK.

The performance given by artistes of the band of the State Affairs Commission, the State Merited Chorus and major art troupes was divided into two parts.

Put on the stage of the performance, which started with the overture instrumental music and song "Our National Flag" and "The Patriotic Song", were such numbers as male trio and chorus "Oh Party, It's Thanks to Your Care" and male solo "O Mother Party which Protected My Destiny" and "I Will Remain Your Son Forever" and instrumental music and serial songs "We Sing of the Party".

The audience was gripped by the numbers giving an impressive artistic representation of the course of heroic struggle covered by the WPK that has brought about unprecedented miracles and epochal changes on this land, always relying on the popular masses and inspiring them.

The performers sang highly of the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who set forth the unique line of Party building and the idea of giving importance to the basic organizations and developed the WPK into invincible militant General Staff, the Juche-oriented revolutionary Party which took deep roots among the popular masses.

The venue resounded with songs "Opening My Heart" and "Voice of My Heart" reflecting the people's deep reverence for the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is ushering in the genuine era of the people by glorifying the WPK as the great mother Party, in which the idea of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people prevails, after setting the people-first politics as a political ideology and his motto.

When performers sang the song "Fly High, Our Party Flag", the audience felt their hearts being filled with the great pride of holding aloft the red Party flag of Juche towards the peak of communism.

Mixed chorus "We Will Follow Our Party Forever" and male chorus "Let's Defend Socialism" aroused revolutionary enthusiasm of the Party cell secretaries to fully discharge their responsibility and duty in the grand struggle for achieving the overall development of our own-style socialism by becoming advancing group members in implementing Party policies, standard-bearers of the revolution.

Song and dance "This Country Is So Good", dance "Golden Ears of Grain Sways" and mixed chorus and male chorus "My Prospering Country" reflected the great pride of our people realizing the beautiful dream and ideal under the unfurled banner of achieving prosperity by dint of self-reliance, greatly exciting the audience for their fascinating and peculiar artistic depiction.

Singing along to the song "The Voice of the Mother," the words of which were personally written by the respected General Secretary on the letter from a Party cell secretary in token of his great trust in and affection for the Party cell secretaries, the audience kept in mind once again the earnest appeal of the General Secretary who called for redoubling efforts to serve the people.

A narrative poem "What Makes the Workers' Party of Korea Strong!" helped the audience look back on the undying history of our Party that has made every effort to strengthen the Party cells since its foundation. The poem made the audience understand the great philosophy that the strengthening of the Party cell is just the one of our Party and the role of the Party cell precisely means the leadership and fighting efficiency of our Party.

The performance reached its climax when serial songs for orchestra and male chorus "We Will Go along Road of Loyalty" and "We'll Travel One Road Forever" were given. This number reflected the steadfast faith of the Party members and all other people to always follow the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un along the road of revolution just as they did invariably in the days of hardship and happiness.

The performance ended with the finale "Glory to Workers' Party of Korea" and "Glory to General Kim Jong Un ", song and dance, which showed the irresistible might of our Party that is enjoying the absolute support and trust of the people and which demonstrated the brave spirit of our people dynamically advancing towards a bright future, firmly united behind the Party.

Through the performance, the participants in the conference hardened their revolutionary will to further strengthen the Party cells into healthy and viable Party cells closely knitted in the bonds of kinship, regarding as an asset of their life the great trust of the Party Central Committee that called the Party cell secretaries hardcore of the hardcore of our Party and unassuming heroes of the unassuming heroes.

All the participants in the conference were full of enthusiasm to demonstrate the dignity and invincible might of the great Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Party all over the world and make new innovations and progress in implementing the decisions of the 8th Congress of the WPK by enhancing the militant function and role of Party cells in every way, true to the important tasks set forth by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the 6th Conference of Cell Secretaries of the WPK. -0-
