Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The melody of immortal classic "Nostalgia" can be heard in President Kim Il Sung's birthplace at Mangyongdae in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.
This revolutionary song, created by the President in the period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, makes the people look back on his noble life.
With "Nostalgia", his favorite song, the President implanted the noble patriotism and pure revolutionary spirit in the minds of anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters. Singing the song, they grew up into revolutionary fighters possessed of love for their birthplaces and homeland and defeated the gangster-like Japanese imperialist aggressors to accomplish the historic cause of national liberation.
When he met with DPRK heroes and model combatants in the period of the Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953), the President sang this song at their request to encourage them to fully display the heroic feats.
Visiting Mangyongdae with the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters in April Juche 61 (1972), he said that having a photo session and talking with them reminded him of the days when he sang "Nostalgia" while missing Mangyongdae around a campfire of secret camp during the anti-Japanese armed struggle.
With the glorious revolutionary history of the President, the immortal classic "Nostalgia" has been reverberated century after century.
