Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- Families of Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle had a meeting to remember President Kim Il Sung at the DPRK embassy in Beijing on April 13 ahead of his birth anniversary (the Day of the Sun).
Present at the meeting were families of Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, the DPRK ambassador to China and his embassy members.
The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and made a bow to them.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
Yu Ming, son of Li Zade, said that he looked back with deep emotion upon the life of the President. Referring to the warm loving care shown by President Kim Il Sung , Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un for his family, he expressed his will to contribute to the development of the traditional friendship between China and the DPRK.
Zhang Jinlu, daughter of Zhang Wei-hua, recalled that the President, valuing his revolutionary friendship with her father, took parental care of her and the Chairman bestowed immeasurable favors on her family generation after generation.
She added that President Kim Il Sung will always be alive in our hearts, wishing the Korean people greater victory in socialist construction under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un .
Zhou Wei, daughter of Zhou Baozhong, said that President Kim Il Sung deeply revered by the Korean people devoted his life to national liberation and prosperity of the country, adding that he achieved world-startling successes in the socialist revolution and construction by founding the idea of independence and leading the Korean people.
The son of Feng Zhongyun praised the President for his immortal exploits for national liberation and nation-building, expressing his conviction that the Korean people would accomplish the behests of President Kim Il Sung to the last under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un . -0-
