Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- The whole life of President Kim Il Sung is run through with his love and devotion to the people.
Though many years have passed with replacement of generations, the Korean people recollect with deep emotion his revolutionary life, reading the collection of memoirs "Among the People". The collection contains touching stories about the President who had visited different parts of the country, bestowing warm love and favors on the ordinary working people.
The book impressively shows the noble personality of Kim Il Sung who had always found himself among the people and led the revolution in reliance on them, sharing the intention and affection with them.
Recorded in it are data showing that the President indicated the way for building a new Korea after its liberation from Japan's colonial rule, stories about him instilling into the minds of the people the faith and courage during the Fatherland Liberation War and the postwar reconstruction and historic data showing his field guidance from the period of socialist construction to the last period of his great life.
Touching the hearts of readers are such stories that the President took warm care of orphans at the Supreme Command during the Fatherland Liberation War, took a step to provide clear water to some people with much investment and gave the name to the newly built bridge as people like.
Indeed, the President bestowed all sorts of love and trust for the people everywhere he went, always finding himself among workers, peasants, servicepersons and schoolchildren.
The collection, written by ordinary people, received the Kim Il Sung Prize and People's Prize of the DPRK. -0-
