Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- Health workers are providing medical service in the construction site of 10,000 flats in Pyongyang.
The Ministry of Public Health organized medical units promptly and took measures to provide plenty of necessary medicines and medical appliances.
Medical workers of treatment and preventive institutions at all levels in the city pitched medical posts near the construction site to provide medical examinations and treatment to builders in a responsible manner, while giving them a lot of Koryo medicines.
Health workers from Kim Man Yu Hospital are informing the builders of common health and hygienic knowledge needed for outdoor work by making the most of breaks while visiting the field for medical check-up more than three times a day. They are also directing efforts to the preventive and curative service to fend off respiratory and eye diseases that can occur owing to micro-dust.
Health workers from Pyongyang Municipal Emergency Hospital and Sadong District People's Hospital sat up with a serious case several nights to completely cure the patient, and those from Pyongyang Municipal People's Hospital No. 3 have achieved successes by making an effective use of traditional Koryo medical therapies, which deeply moved the builders.
