The message extended sincere and warm congratulations to Raul Castro Ruz on the successful 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC).
Kim Jong Un said in the message that he was very pleased to see that under the energetic guidance of Raul Castro Ruz the 8th Congress of the CPC provided a sure guarantee for carrying forward the socialist cause of Cuba generation after generation, faithfully upholding the idea of Fidel Castro Ruz.
The message recalled that the Cuban people have strenuously advanced along the road of socialism, safeguarding the sovereignty and dignity of their country under the correct guidance of the CPC headed by respected Raul Castro Ruz in the face of trials and tempests of history.
It expressed conviction that the CPC and the Cuban people would invariably preserve the invaluable legacies of the revolution bequeathed by the revolutionaries of the elder generations and gain big successes in the struggle for building a prosperous socialist state, rallied closer around First Secretary Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
Kim Jong Un in the message expressed his firm will to add shine to the comradely and fraternal relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries forged and verified in the struggle for carrying out the joint cause.
