Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in the field of fruit farming across the country have planted millions of fruit saplings this year.
The Fruit Farming Management Bureau under the Ministry of Agriculture has meticulously organized the work to ensure that fruit farms in different parts of the country fulfill this year's plans for fruit production, production of high-yielding fruit saplings, fruit tree rotation, etc.
Kwail County finished planting good species of fruit saplings highly resistant to drought, rainstorm and cold.
Pukchong County has increased the fertility of soil by carpeting orchards with good-quality manure and planted fruit saplings with much care in accordance with relevant technical requirements.
The same is true of Kosan Combined Fruit Farm, Onchon Fruit Farm, Pyongyang Fruit Farm and other farms.
