Spring land administration was launched as an all-people campaign in North Phyongan Province of Korea.
Thaechon County has finished the project for embankment filling, rockwork and creation of bank-protecting forests as planned and Unsan County has finished tens of thousand cubic metres of dredging of rivers and streams in a short span of time, obtaining more than 50 hectares of new land and protecting the farmlands from natural disasters.
A number of counties including Tongnim and Kujang Counties carried out filling in quality by supplying necessary equipment and materials in time.
Kusong City and Phihyon and Nyongbyon Counties finished repairing imperfect sections of roads. Officials and working people in the province successfully carried out tens of kilometres of road construction and technical reconstruction, over 1.5 million cubic metres of dredging, more than 220 kilometres of embankment filling and creation of bank-protecting forests.
