Since housing construction started in Pyongyang for 10,000 families tens of thousands of the members of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea engaged in ministries, national organs and the factories and enterprises of Pyongyang and all its districts have so far been enrolled in separate shock forces. Meanwhile, they have carried tens of thousands of cubic meters of graves, sand and lumber, rezoned the ground for thousands of square meters and carried out many other work assignments.
The young members of night helpers’ shock brigades work vyingly with devotion in the construction site to carry out the Party’s great plan for housing construction without fail.
Particular mention should be made of tens of the officials of the SPYL’s affiliates who participated in its 10th congress. Although they have their hands full with their own duty they come to the construction site of dwellings every night and work there with all their might.
The officers and members of the workteams of the Capital City Construction Commission and the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the GFTUK help toward raising the speed of housing construction with the apparatus and implements they secured themselves.
The members of the shock force of the SWUK, too, do their duty well in building dwellings.
