Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- If we are to have a bumper crop in the fields of socialist co-op farms by doing farming well, the whole country should positively help the rural communities in terms of manpower, material and technology, says Rodong Sinmun in an editorial on Sunday.
The editorial goes on:
It is necessary for all sectors and units to positively help the rural communities in terms of manpower.
Everyone should take an active part in the implementation of the Party's plan and decision for decisively propping up the agricultural sector.
The Party appeals to all its members, the whole country and all the people to positively support the rural communities. So everyone should turn out in doing so in hearty response to the call.
It is also necessary to give more material and technical aid to the countryside.
Farming should be done at the right time. Whatever happens, quality farming materials should be produced and provided in time to bring about a bumper crop this year.
The relevant sectors and units should mobilize all manpower and means and tap all reserves and potentials to help the farms, prioritizing the rural communities in provision of products.
The editorial appeals to everyone to take an active part in supporting the rural communities with the great patriotic zeal and the master-like attitude so as to make a positive contribution to unconditionally implementing the grain production plan set forth by the Party this year, the first year for carrying out the new five-year plan.
