Pyongyang, May 11 (KCNA) -- Samjiyon City People's Hospital gives full display to the advantages and vitality of the socialist public health system through its good medical service. The hospital was built as a model local people's hospital under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

For about six months since its inauguration, its medical workers have provided many patients with sincere medical treatment, thus gaining in popularity.

Workshops were organized in a planned way to improve the technical and practical skills of doctors and nurses so that they came to be well versed in modern medical equipment.

They have succeeded in more than 200 big and small operations, achieving successes in treatment of cases through regular operation of the tele-medical service system.

Hygienic information activities are brisk in the hospital which took strict measures to prevent any latent diseases.

People in different cities and counties including Kim Jong Suk County receive medial service in the hospital. -0-
