Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- Breeding rabbits is being popularized among organizations under the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK).
Provincial committees of the union are organizing socialist emulation drives among cities and counties to be followed by correct reviewing and assessing. They are also pushing ahead with the provision of breeding rabbits of good strains and building of coops.
They set model units and regularly hold workshops to show good experience gained in breeding.
They also make sure that lots of baby rabbits are bred and sent to the UAWK organizations in their provinces.
Those organizations in cities and counties disseminate experience gained from breeding good-strain rabbits and also scientific breeding method, and are inoculating rabbits as a preventive measure, thereby lowering the morbidity and death rates. Feed supply is fully ensured in keeping with the increase in the number of the grass-eating animal. -0-
