Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- Chongsan Co-operative Farm in Kangso District, Nampho City is bustling with rice-transplanting, with its members firmly determined to report a bumper harvest this year, 50 years since Chairman Kim Jong Il transplanted rice seedlings in person.
The farmers have all been out since early this year for good preparations for farming true to the behest of Chairman Kim Jong Il that spring comes to the whole country when it comes to Chongsan-ri, and the agricultural policy of the Party. They have raised healthy rice seedlings by drawing on advanced method.
More and more fields in Chongsan-ri turn green thanks to the agricultural workers with a sense of responsibility for defending the frontline of safeguarding socialism and with the consciousness of being the master of scientific farming.
Officials of the Nampho City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and those in Kangso District joined the farmers in transplanting rice seedlings on Wednesday. -0-
