Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- In the DPRK, big efforts have been paid to producing green building materials based on light burned magnesia.
The Pyongyang Foam Prefab Factory newly established a process for producing building materials with light burned magnesia to turn out green building fixtures.
In this regard, Ho Kang Jin, section chief of its Industrial Technology Institute, told KCNA:
Building materials based on light burned magnesia are multi-functional and multipurpose energy-saving ones which can be used in any place.
The factory produces various kinds of green building materials like sawdust pressure plate and decoration wallboard.
The sawdust pressure plate based on light burned magnesia is used in dry construction as finishing decorative plate as it has high intensity and strong damp-proof, heat-insulation and antiseptic properties. The demand for this product is now growing higher among construction units. -0-
