Pyongyang, May 13 (KCNA) -- Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, inspected several places of Samjiyon City.
He went round construction sites including Phothae-dong and Rimyongsu-dong bustling with the third-stage project for remodeling Samjiyon City and the self-supporting bases of the 216 Division.
He gave pep talks to the builders all out in the campaign of loyalty for more magnificently sprucing up the holy place of the Juche revolution, true to the idea and the spirit of the 8th Congress of the Party and the 2nd Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Party. He also stressed the need to push forward with the construction as planned by ensuring timely supply of materials and actively use locally available finishing building materials.
He went round the Samjiyon City People's Hospital, the Samjiyon Blueberry Drink Factory and the Samjiyon Potato Farina Production Factory, where he underscored the need for those units associated with the leadership exploits of the Party to promote their development with an innovative management strategy and set an example in implementing the Party policies in order to powerfully propel the improvement of the people's living standard and the development of local industry.
The field consultative meetings discussed the practical issues arising in qualitatively completing the third-stage project for remodeling Samjiyon City as early as possible and turning all cities and counties into developed areas with their own specific features on the basis of a new standard created in the construction of the holy place of the revolution.
Meanwhile, at the Hyesan Youth Mine, the premier chaired a consultative meeting for boosting the capacity of the mine.
