Jagang Province actively steps up the construction of dozens of its units under a blueprinted plan to promote its development and improve the living standard of its people.
It has aimed at renovating the underground structures of apartment buildings in Kanggye City according to the year because they must be built there without cease. It is now all out to hit the target.
Besides, it does all it can to build the Hungju Youth Power Station 5 and spruce up Usi County and Manpho City.
It has formulated an actual scientific plan to consolidate the foundations for the production of building materials this year which marks the beginning of another five-year plan. It is now doing its utmost to carry out the plan.
The officials of the province carry out in real earnest the project for increasing the production capacity of the August 2 Manpho Cement Factory. Furthermore, they simultaneously push ahead with the construction of a tilery in Huichon City and the expansion of the production capacity of the Kanggye Steelworks.
In addition, the province builds many medium- and small-sized power stations dynamically to produce on its own the electricity needed to develop its economy and make its people better off than ever.
