Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- The agricultural workers, who turned out in implementing the decisions made at the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, make achievements in weeding maize fields while successfully doing other urgent farm work.
Thanks to their devoted efforts, the third-round weeding of maize fields nears completion across the country and the fourth-round weeding proceeds in earnest.
The agricultural workers of Pyongyang City, who finished the third-round weeding until June 20, now engage in the fourth-round weeding. They carry out their daily plans without fail.
Those in South Hwanghae Province and Nampho City also concluded the third-round weeding in time and register high results every day in the fourth-round weeding.
Similar successes are witnessed in farms in North and South Phyongan provinces and other areas, which worked out detailed weeding plans and raise the utility rate of small and medium farm implements. -0-
