Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill in June Juche 105 (2016).
That day, he called on the employees of the mill to steadily glorify its proud tradition and honor, saying that the working spirit of the great Chollima age should be invariably carried forward.
In the Chollima age when lots of world-startling miracles and innovations were witnessed one after another in socialist construction, the mill made great strides.
Under the wise guidance of President Kim Il Sung, the mill over-fulfilled its economic assignment every year in the period of the great Chollima upswing. As a result, it produced the first Chollima workteam and won the title of Chollima Factory for the first time in Pyongyang City.
In those days, Kil Hwak Sil, an ordinary workteam head of the mill, became a forerunner of communist education well known to the country. Thanks to her devoted efforts, her workteam developed into a united collective whose members help and lead each other forward and made innovation in production to have the honor of being the first Chollima workteam at the mill.
Kil, who set an example in human remolding by turning two workteams into the Chollima workteams in less than one year, was awarded the title of DPRK Labor Hero.
Today, the mill is displaying to the full its honor as a model unit by carrying forward the working spirit of the Chollima age. All its employees turned out in the work to follow the heroes of the Chollima age under the slogan "One for all and all for one!", and a large number of labor innovators have been produced at the mill every year.
