Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- All the people should live and carry on the struggle in the spirit of defending the country pioneered by the generation who won the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War in order to break through all challenges and difficulties to our advance and open up a fresh era of dynamic progress, says Rodong Sinmun Friday in an article.
Noting that the purest and most absolute loyalty to the leader is the keynote of the spirit of defending the country displayed in the 1950s, the article says:
The spirit also helps train all the people to be genuine revolutionaries keeping their loyalty to the leader as their faith.
The spirit of defending the country displayed during the Fatherland Liberation War in the 1950s serves as the motive power for breaking through difficulties and trials in the spirit of self-reliance and for performing ceaseless miracles and innovations by giving full play to collectivism.
Now we are paving a broad avenue for great progress in socialist construction in the face of unheard-of harsh trials.
Such stirring situation makes us realize once again that the spirit of defending the country displayed in the 1950s is so dear to us.
Our revolution can emerge victorious when all the people prepare themselves as the ones who are strong in idea and faith with the spirit of defending the country.
