Making the round of the construction site for 10 000 flats in Pyongyang, he encouraged the builders creating the new Pyongyang speed and the new myth of construction with a high degree of enthusiasm to devotedly materialize the Party Central Committees' magnificent plan of building the capital city.
He stressed the need to scrupulously conduct the operation and command under scientific calculation to suit the construction being accelerated at a lightening speed in three dimensions. He called for paying due attention to the working and living conditions of the builders in the face of the persistent fierce heat.
A field consultative meeting reviewed successes and deviations found in the construction and stressed the need for construction units to create a new standard and a new record through the drive to overtake and learn from others and swap experience with one another. It took the measures for responsibly providing building materials and equipment, finishing materials in particular.
The premier also learned about the construction of dwelling houses in Taephyong area and called on the officials to work harder, bearing in mind the intention of the Party regarding the solution of housing problem in the capital city as the top priority task. He also made detailed organization for pushing forward the construction.
