Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- Officials, working people, service personnel of the People's Army, youth and students visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in different parts of the country on July 27, the 68th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
Placed before the statues on Mansu Hill were floral baskets in the names of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Public Security Forces (PSF) and institutions, industrial establishments, universities and schools at all levels in Pyongyang.
The visitors made bows to the statues.
Floral baskets in the names of institutions, enterprises and units of the KPA and the PSF were laid at the statues of the peerlessly great men and mosaics picturing their smiling images in different parts of Pyongyang, including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of National Defence and the Mansudae Art Studio, as well as bouquets and flowers.
Working people, servicepersons, youth and students in other parts of the country also visited the statues and mosaics of the smiling great leaders in their residential quarters to pay homage.
On the same day, bouquets and flowers were placed before the statues of martyrs, martyrs cemeteries, memorial towers for the fallen soldiers of the KPA and cemeteries of fallen fighters. -0-
